Vision, Mission, and Purpose

VISION
Our vision is to develop and maintain one of Morgantown's safest and most desirable communities.

MISSION
Our mission is to preserve and enhance the value of the private and common properties that compose Cheat Cove and to endeavor to bring our community together.

PURPOSE
Per our Declaration, the Cheat Cove Property Owners Association is established for the primary purpose of maintaining, regulating, and insuring the Common Elements for and on behalf of the Units (and the Owners of the Units). The Association is also formed for the secondary purposes of:

Providing Lawncare to all Attached Dwelling Units
Providing Elective Unit Maintenance to Units
Being a democratic form of governance and administration of the Subdivision by the Units

Additionally, per our Bylaws, the purposes of the Association shall be to:

Exercise those powers delegated to it in the Declaration or by the laws of the State
Own, manage and maintain all of the Common Elements
Assess and collect assessments, dues, and/or fees from Unit Owners necessary to permit the Association to own, manage, and maintain the Common Elements and the improvements located thereon
Generally govern the use and operation of the Common Elements including the Storm Water System and Storm Water Ponds
Provide Lawncare (as defined in the Declaration) to Attached Dwelling Units
Provided Elective unit Maintenance (as defined in the Declaration) to all Units
Take and/or perform all actions related to, incidental to, and/or ancillary to all of the foregoing
